Das Haus steht in einer sehr kleinen Siedlung an einem Bach in einem Pinienwald. Es ist sehr ruhig dort, man ist mitten in der Natur. Das Haus selber ist äußerst geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Großartige Küche und bequeme Betten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Devin’s place was beautiful and calm. It was the perfect location for exploring Yosemite while still reasonably placed near the town for groceries. We appreciated the large living room and outdoor living spaces, especially the grill! Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful location with the creek right across. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place for Yosemite access and bass lake.
The house was clean and as described. Perfect location, situated between Yosemite and Oakhurst. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a creek. We enjoyed having the windows opens to hear it. I have stayed on the valley floor before in Yosemite and much preferred the south entrance. It was a lot less crowded.
This property is located in a beautiful valley near the southern entrance to Yosemite. It was the perfect place for our family of five. Our host was very communicative, and the cabin had everything we needed and more.
This is a very nice home in a beautiful and tranquil location. 15 minutes drive to South entrance at Yosemite, and 10-15 drive in the other direction puts you in Oakhurst with plenty of choices for restaurants and groceries. There is a roaring creek near the house and trees that provide the perfect setting for hanging out on either of the balconies or the deck. The kitchen is well equipped and we also enjoyed grilling on the deck. We were here for a week and visited Yosemite every day. There is also a wooded trail a short walk from the house that follows the creek and leads to a swimming hole. Devin was very responsive and gave us some good tips for visiting Yosemite. We had a great time here.
My family spent a three day vacation at Devin’s place. Devin is super nice and helpful. It is such a beautiful and spacious house. Very nice designed and clean. We enjoyed our time in the living area, balconies, and backyard. The Lewis creek just runs in front of the house. It was fun and relaxing to play in and sit along the creek. At night, the creek brings natural white noise to the bedrooms. Wonderful experience!
The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked with all the essentials. Much more than we expected. I truly loved just sitting on the balcony enjoying the sight of the beautiful trees and the sound of the brook that ran just in front. Not too far from El Capitan, Half Dome and Horse tail falls! Enjoyed a trail ride on horseback in Yosemite, a little challenging but we'll worth it. Such a beautiful area. Bass lake is close and worth checking out. There's plenty to do and enjoy. And when you're done you have a great place to come back to and recharge. Alot of photo opportunities so have your camera ready. Would definitely come back to this cabin. Cheers Devin and thank you.

Wonderful home in Sugar Pine. We had a great time at Devin's place during our trip to Yosemite. The location was great to get to the park or to get to Oakhurst for supplies. We enjoyed relaxing in the great room every evening after a day hiking in the park. The pace was as described and we would definitely go back.
Great stay, very clean and big! Cute community and not too far from the park entrance. We enjoyed our stay and it was very peaceful!
Very cute, cozy place to stay outside of Yosemite. Host is the bee’s knees. Nice creek right next to cabin to do cold plunges if you’re into that. Absolutely loved this cabin and would 100% recommend it to anybody.
This was a great location with very clean accommodations. There are lots of stairs, which was not a deterrent for us but may be problematic for others.

The chalet is located in a peaceful area surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It looks exactly as described, and we truly enjoyed our stay.
Devin was very responsive and provided great recommendations for the area. The location is also very convenient—just a short drive to the south entrance of Yosemite.
A must-do while staying here is the Lewis Creek Trail, which is very close to the chalet and absolutely worth visiting.

This chalet is nestled in the forest along a beautiful creek within a secluded, peaceful community! Listening to the creek running out front of the house while surrounded by the forest made for a truly special experience! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities! Thanks for a great stay!!
The residential village of Sugar Pine is magical, and Devin's home makes it even more-so. Nestled in the pines in a very historic village that used to be a lumber company town, the air is so fresh and it's easy to stroll around and take in the majesty of the Sugar pines. Devin was so responsive and handled every detail. We felt so well cared-for. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Yosemite and riding the Sugar Pine railroad (just up the road).
This chalet is spacious and very very clean. The beds are comfortable and showers had good pressure. We were not aware that the 2nd bath was not located on the same floor, so that was a bit of an issue for us. This is a very remote location (IN the woods)but close to a trail with a great waterfall. If you like peace and quiet, you’ll find it here!

Boom Chalet was the perfect spot for me and my husband for our Yosemite Adventure. It's about 15 minutes from the south gate and it is in the cutest, off-the-beaten-path neighborhood. We stocked up on groceries in Oakhurst and made most of our meals at the Chalet. We hiked in Yosemite 4 days and stayed in and watched movies in our jammies for 2 days. The bed was super comfortable and the room was dark so we slept great. We only used the downstairs shower, but it had great water pressure and the perfect temperature. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. We corresponded with Devin a couple of times and he was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this getaway!
Great stay! Perfect for visiting Yosemite
Had a great couple nights at Devin's chalet! The location is perfect - just 20 minutes to Yosemite's south gate. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the entire place was spotless.
Devin was an exceptional host - very responsive with communication and graciously offered early check-in and late check-out without us even asking. When the area experienced a power outage (which locals said was unusual), we were fortunate that the chalet had a backup generator, keeping everything running while a couple of the neighboring houses went dark.
No A/C, but it really wasn't needed at all, given the location. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Yosemite!
Very beautiful cabin with everything you need in it. Quiet place in the middle of forest. I enjoy every moment and relaxed away from the city noise. Definitely want to come back to this place

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Oakhurst! The location was awesome just a short, scenic drive to Yosemite’s South Entrance and close to great local spots for food and supplies.
The home itself was incredibly homey and welcoming, with a warm, comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at ease from the moment we walked in. It was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed after a long day exploring the park.
The hosts was fantastic - friendly, responsive, understanding and made the entire process seamless. We especially loved relaxing on the balconies in the mornings, taking in the peaceful scenery.
If you’re planning a trip to Yosemite, this is the perfect place to stay. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located place to stay.

This place looked exactly like the photos. It was perfect for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. The beds were comfortable. The king sized bed and twin room was perfect for the kids room. The living room and kitchen are beautiful with the high ceilings and big windows. The front decks off the living room and bedroom overlook the beautiful trees and creek. The place was clean and very well maintained. They had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, and plenty of towels, washcloths, and blankets. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer worked great. They had a great selection of board games and books. It was easy checkin and Devin was very friendly and responded fast to any messages or questions. The back deck when finished will be so nice to relax in the mornings and evenings and love the string lights. This place is about a 10 minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. We felt safe the entire stay. Would definitely stay at this place again.
We absolutely loved staying here. The chalet was perfect for our family of 5 and it just as descibed. We loved the location. We visited Bass Lake and Yosemite.

Great location!
We absolutely loved the house and location. 20 minutes from the Yosemite South Gate and 20 minutes from the city of Oakhurst. Bass Lake is also close by. There’s even a gorgeous trail called Lewis Creek just a 10 minutes walk away. The house is beautiful and fully stocked. It was perfect for our family of 4. The host is really responsive and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this house to all our friends and family.
We loved staying at the Boom chalet for our first visit to Yosemite. He was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The chalet is in a great location with access to the park. Would recommend!
Devin’s cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Tucked away in a peaceful setting, it offered the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and nature. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy beds and fast Wi-Fi. From the moment we inquired about the property, communication was smooth and professional.
Devin was easy to work with and provided helpful, detailed information every step of the way from booking to check-in and check-out.
The cabin itself was exactly as it was presented in the pictures: Clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated how clear and well presented the instructions were for everything from using the light/fan switches and appliances to trash disposal and house rules. It made settling in super easy. It's clear Devin takes pride in maintaining the space. We'd gladly stay here again! 10 out of 10!
We had an amazing stay at Boom Chalet! The house was exactly as described and perfect for my family of 4. The beds were comfortable, the space and furniture was clean and well taken care of. It was a beautiful wooded landscape and the sounds of the nearby creek just added to the magic of our stay. It is about a 15 drive to Yosemite’s South Gate entrance near Mariposa grove.

Secluded and peaceful
This house is amazing! Very clean and makes you feel like you are at home. Just the sound of the creek running next to the road and the beauty of the forest around you. And the stars at night. Wow! Host is very quick to respond if needed. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, quiet get away from everything. Not too far from town and close to the South entrance to Yosemite NP. The roads are so fun to drive!
This was our very first time staying in an Airbnb, so we were a little nervous about what to expect — but Boom Chalet exceeded all our hopes! The chalet is absolutely beautiful and set in the most stunning location. We arrived late at night, and when we opened the front door the next morning, we were greeted by the sight and sound of a gorgeous creek right outside. It truly felt like stepping into Narnia — absolutely magical!
The chalet is spacious, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. I had one small question during our visit and messaged the host, who replied immediately with a helpful answer. The communication was excellent.
I couldn’t recommend Boom Chalet more highly — you won’t want to leave

We felt so lucky to enjoy a modern, pristine chalet in the middle of the woods that opened up to the sound of a creek. It was more beautiful and clean than even the pictures showed.
Devin was responsive and kind with any questions we had. I looked at dozens of Airbnb’s in the area and none even came close to it. The main space is super comfortable and beautiful - loved my stay here.

We had an amazing stay at this newly renovated cabin near Yosemite! It was the perfect spot for a few quiet days in nature. The cabin is charming – cozy mountain vibes with modern comforts. Bedrooms are peaceful, and the upstairs great room is perfect for board games by the fire after a day in the park.
Kids loved the puzzles and exploring the woods when the sun came out on our last afternoon. The upgraded kitchen had everything we needed.
The peaceful Sugar Pine community was fun to explore. It’s an easy walk to the pond, and Lewis Creek flows right in front of the cabin. We’ll be back in summer to try out the swimming hole! The location was great – 15 mins to Yosemite South Entrance, 20 mins to Mariposa Grove, and under an hour to the Valley.
The area is gorgeous in winter with no crowds and snow at higher elevations.
This cabin is a relaxing, convenient base for a Yosemite adventure – peaceful retreat with easy park access. We’ll definitely be back!
